THE MINISTRIES OF THE CHURCH (HGFM/EMF)

The following Ministries has been set up to help us accomplish and to Administrate the vision given to us by the Lord and to enable us give the best service to Gods people.

DEACON’S MINISTRY (DM) : The Deacon’s ministry provides service to the congregation. Supports the Bishop and associate pastors and the vision of the church. Participates in other ministries within the church and special events or functions of the church. They also serve as armor bearers when needed. Works with all the other ministries and links them up. To see to it that all ministries are working and function well according to the vision. To work with the marital affaires by meeting with the couples after they were handed to them for final preparation for the weddings.

WOMEN EVANGELISTIC SQUAD (WES) : The Women Evangelistic Squad is the evangelistic outreach wing of the women's ministry. With the objectives of Church planting, open air crusades, house to house evangelism etc.. in towns and villages. God can use you a woman for His glory Visit women ministry page.

THE I CARE MINISTRY (ICAM) : Is a guardian’s ministry that ministers to the spiritual and physical needs of the widows, widowers, orphans, homeless and broken homes. They evangelize drug addicts, gangsters, prostitutes and in market places. To create an environment of love, acceptance, care and encouraging them, to express themselves by establishing trust, and to rebuild relationships. They are to empower individuals with skills that will enable self-sufficiency and to promote spiritual growth and development. . Visit ICAM

VISUAL EVANGELISM TEAM (VIEVANT): Carrying out the great commission by films and drama evangelism. Organizes programs by very educative and teaching films, in churches, towns and villages. . Visit vievant page

MEN’S MINISTRY (MIGHTY MEN OF VALOUR) : To keep the spirit of communion and brotherly love, the men are purposed to set up discipleship programs, to develop and implement workshops to assist them in becoming spiritually, economically and financially strong. To evangelize and increase men in joining and working in other Ministries within the church. To include Bible study and prayer groups and to initiate other spiritual growth programs. WOMEN MINISTRY (DEBORAH GENERATION): To keep the spirit of unity and love. To have the awareness that God can use them and to set up Evangelism and discipleship programs by studying the Bible and to develop a powerful prayer life. To implement workshops, to assist them build up the giant and the queen within and to become spiritually, materially and financially empowered. To increase women by wining and joining them to other ministries within the church. Build a strong bridge between them and the young girls and teaching them by examples as virtuous women. YOUTH MINISTRY (JOSHUA GENERATION) : Is a ministry designed to attract youth between the ages of 13-30. To seek out the hurting, troubled and the lost youth through the power of the Gospel. Show them the grace and love of God, encouraging and mending the broken-hearted and bring peace to the troubled mind. Applying the Word of God to strengthen and gird them with God’s truth, so they can grow in the Lord. CHILDREN MINISTRY (KINGDOM KIDS): The children’s church is primarily designed to train and inspire the children to know the plan and will of God for them. To provide adequate spiritual supports and give them godly education and counsel. To show them dynamic ways to reach other children for the Lord. To help them grow in the things of God. MUSIC AND ARTS MINISTRY (MAAM): The music ministry of the church is made out of believers who answered the call of God to music and arts. These groups of psalmists, musicians, and Praise and worship leaders have dedicated their lives to ushering God’s people into the presence of God. The music department comprised of the kingdom Brass Band, the women’s choir (The Voice of Restoration) the youth choirs (The Voice of Destiny and Heaven Bells) the Achapela group (Alabaster Box) and the choreographic dance (Angelic Dancers). all the choirs come together to form the mass church choir ( Eternal Light Voice )
This department is to promote and develop skills and talents in the life of people and to help compose and made recordings. They are to organize, conferences and musical concerts as an instrument to evangelize.
The arts section has in place Drama, sketch and mime groups in which they organize programs to communicate information’s and to send messages across.

BUSINESS MEN FELLOWSHIP (BMF): Its purpose is to develop and empower the business men and let them know the plan and will of God for them and how to do business with God and to avoid indulgence in dubious business activities. To create business network among believers. To build business relationship with one another. Providing them with information that will help them grow and strengthen their weak areas and to guide those who are trying to start a business. To take proper avenues. To impart information regarding all aspects of business. And to reach the business world with the gospel.

SECRETARIAT, INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION MINISTRY (SINACOM) : Takes care of all paper works, documentation and reports. Shares information about the church and its activities. To inform the public of any up coming events and to keep the church informed on regular basis of any new events, or manifestations. To work with all the other ministries by helping them put there paper works in order and up to date. To also work on our website to up date information. To form a team this will help in translating documents to other languages of our choice and need. Will be putting up monthly news letters and trimestrial magazine which will help spread the good new and also what we doing.

HEALING AND DELIVERANCE MINISTRY (HADMI) : Help people who are suffering from demonic harassment, torments, suppressions, sickness, diseases, charms, alcohol and drug addictions, satanic attacks and demon possessed etc.
Help organize and administrate healing and deliverance programs such as Prayer lines, Healing and deliverance conferences. Etc

NEW MEMBERS RELATIONS AND COUNSELORS MINISTRY (NEMREC): To welcome and embrace the new members, to assist them by providing quality information and resources of the church. To make positive impression on the new member. To assist and encourage the new members to become grounded through the new converts and the discipleship classes. To signify the heart of our Bishop, first lady and associates pastors love, concern and care for them. To help them to be planted into a cells group of 12 and the mainstream of the church body.

SECURITY AND PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS MINISTRY (SECUPLAT): To effectively ensure that the worshippers are ushered on and off the premises in a courteous, safe and orderly manner. To watch and ensure safety of cars, motorbikes and bicycles etc. in each service

HOSPITAL AND PRISONS MINISTRY (HOPRIM) : Ministers are available to pray and to take the word of God to Hospitals and to serve the church membership and others, by providing prayer support visitations and comfort to members and others who are hospitalized and in homes where people are dying spiritually and physically.
And also to minister the word and love of God to those being held captives behind walls and are spiritually and mentally bound. To help and encourage them by the changing and transforming power of the Gospel and to assure them of the hope in Christ.

USHERING, GREETERS, HOSTERS AND PROTOCOL MINISTRY (UGREPROM): This ministry is to provide an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance to the staff, members, visitors and guests by warm welcome greetings and extending loving gestures of hospitality to all and to maintain order in the house of God in times of services or manifestations.
Extends hands of support and Service to people in need in times of services.

G 12 HARVESTERS, CHURCH PLANTING AND MISSIONS
 * G 12 Harvesters (G12 Projects): The Group of 12 Project is a principle of multiplication and fruitfulness. A strategic cells, outreach, church planting, discipleship, church growth and follow-up system. It creates an atmosphere for Christians to build meaningful relationships. It challenges and motivates members for soul wining. New Christians and members get a chance to become more rooted in God, to stay in touch with one another and build the interest of concern and meeting the needs of others. A place to learn, being fruitful, committing to faithful men and showing love and care.

*Church Planting: We are a church planting church and with a goal of planting churches in villages, towns and cities. An organ that embarrasses this vision and help carry it out by fully equipping men and women for this great move. To organize first visits to spy out the lands. To make sure a place to lodge and meeting place can be found etc. To find out about the people and the approach or strategy to be used in reaching the people. Reach the unreached or the unchurched and plant a church.   

*Missions: To take care of all missions works, reports and missionaries sent out nationally or internationally to start a new work or helping strengthen an old work. To help organize mission conferences or seminars and mission trips for teams etc. Rise funds for missions to support the works and the missionaries. Works under the coordination of the general mission organ of the church called the Glory Missions Agency.

KINGDOM RIDERS (Riding for Jesus)
We want to use everything and every means possible to accomplish the great commission and to get the gospel out to the people. A prophetic prayer and evangelism organ or instrument. Organize prayer rides, where by they ride into an area riding and praying with prophetic bike sounds and declarations taking the place for the Lord. Riding into a place, town or a village to cause public awareness and to draw the attention of the people and preach the gospel to them.

GOD’S END TIME HARVEST ARMY (GETHA): THE EVANGELISM GROUP
it’s the evangelistic organ of the church, bringing together all the evangelistic teams of the various groups. Soul wining is our goal and this organ serves as a charnel or a catalyst to motivate every member into soul winning. He that wins souls is wise. We want all members therefore to be wise. Secondly, our aim is to bring the body of Christ together with a common goal in Nations, to reach out to the unreached areas of the nation. It brings the local Churches together and organizes open-air evangelistic crusades (Nation-wide, City-wide, and in villages.)

PRAYER AND INTERCESSION MINISTRY (PAIM): Consolidating our intercession into groups and seeking the will of God for our life and the ministry of the Lord is put into action weekly.
- SCHOOL OF PRAYER (SOPRA): A prayer program which helps to multiply intercessors to cover the Land. A divine strategy to take the nations through prayer. Opened to all members of the body of Christ of all nations and all tongues, preparing the earth for the end time harvest.

MARITAL AFFAIRS MINISTRY: This organ consisting of delegates of three main streams of the church and headed by some of the pastors. Sees to it that marriage programs work out well from the beginning of marriage steps to the day of the wedding by counseling and encouraging them to undergo the pre-marriage and deliverance classes.
Taking care of the organization, inspecting and making sure the parties are prepared before hand and marriage arrangement are all done without leading or living the couples in to any form of debt. Taking care of the decorations of the vehicles and the place of the marriage ceremonies as the couple may desire. To ensure that the parties cut the coat according to their size. And that everything they may do should glorify the Lord. To work with the deacons to finish up the necessary arrangements.

ORGANIZATIONS MINISTRY
Is a ministry organ to analyses and forms a temporal or permanent labor force and harmony to organize, arrange and coordinate Church services, Manifestations, Programs and Events. Works with almost all the other departments and to make sure there is efficiency in arrangements and things are done more effectively.
It takes care of set ups, positioning and everything that makes a gathering presentable, comfortable and in good order, by seeing to it that programs are drawn out for any type of event and a Master of ceremony (M.C.) is set for it and people involve on the programs are notified. Ahead of time.

SOCIAL AIDS MINISTRY
- Joseph Ministry: The Joseph Ministry is a ministry that shows the love of God to the poor and needy in villages and towns by providing them with food, clothing’s, medicine and finance. The Ministry helps in establishing some by encouraging and counseling them to get something doing.
To make this happen the ministry receives donation in kind, food items, used or new clothes, shoes, money etc..
Anything usable that the Lord may lay on your heart to give to these poor and needy families will be welcome.

- Birth And Dedications of Children
Takes care of all affaires concerning contacts, communications and relations with families as the representative of the leadership of the church. Makes all necessary arrangements and preparations of naming or dedications ceremonies. Plan out with the people to make sure everything is done well and in proper shape and order to the glory of God and that the families are satisfied and happy.

- Sorrowful Events (Deaths, etc. )
Takes care of all sorrowful matters, event and happenings..e.g, Concerning, Death, accidental issues, etc. To stand with the victims, encourage, support, and help in preparations, arrangements and organize all accompanying events eg, funeral, home going services etc.

MAINTENACE AND UP-KEEP MINISTRY
Sees to the well being of everything which is of the church. Cleaning and Maintenance of vehicles, chairs, temple, conferences halls. Etc. keeps the place clean and neat before and after every program and events. To maintain a high standard profiles of the place.

FINANCIAL MINISTRY
It’s the accounting section of the church that takes care of all financial transactions, incoming and outgoings, banking, financial reports, records, and book keepings. Etc.

AUDIT AND CONTROL MINISTRY.
An organ that help check and controls all the financial affaires of every ministry department and make sure of book keepings. To see to it that all accounting is done in the spirit of clarity and transparency.

LORHEP SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (Logos Rhema Program)
It’s a training program to establish and build up all the members of the church EMF/HGFM, and to bring out of them the God given gift and make them leaders to do the work of the ministry for the advancement of the work of the Lord. With the objectives as stated in the following verses;
Eph. 4:11 – 14. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

PUBLIC RELATIONS MINISTRY: This department manages all public relations issues and promotes a favorable public image of the church by working out everything or any program we will do out of the borders of EMF, in other words every interdenominational programs or anything we may plan to do with other churches or with the public (unchurched people).
Builds a platform and connects every other ministry whose ministry may be needed for the circumstances. Must be very sensitive to needs and knowing also the environment and among the type of people they work in.
