DORCAS MINISTRY PROJECTS

As the mission of the church is not only limited to the spirtual need of the souls, it has to cover both the spiritual and the social aspects of life so that the souls may be well established.

The church therefore has taken up the responsibility to help its members and the body of Christ to get desired stability. In the whole bible the obligation of the church was reveled by the recommandation to take care for the needs of the widows, the orphans,the poor and the needy. Because of this the apostle John declared : Beloved I wish above all that you may prosper and be in good health even as your Soul prospered.

According to this responsibility, we have put up Micro-projects to be able to face the chalenges and to meet the multiple needs.

I- AIMS

The program is to enforce the needy Soul into active life of the community to ensure their well being so that poverty should be totaly eradiquated in all forms. The target groups are the orphans, the fatherless, the rejected children, the poor and needy parents, widows, women and the youth without lucrative activities.

II- OBJECTIVES.

To give the orphans a stable and caring home environment to improve the general quality of life *To educate the orphans, the rejected, the abandoned and the children from poor families. * To give vocational training to the youth from the poor and needy families. * To help the widows and women without work or employment to get something doing that can generate income for their upkeep.

III- STRATEGY

We have put in place this micro-projects as the strategy or means to achive our objectives.
